Surgical robots have been used for many years to perform surgeries, but recently there has been a major increase in the number of applications. In particular, the use of robotic arms to perform minimally invasive surgeries has become very popular.
Robotic arms are particularly useful for complex surgeries that require high precision and dexterity. Robots can move the surgeon’s hands into difficult-to-reach areas and make precise movements that would be difficult for a human surgeon to do.
This type of surgery can be used to perform procedures like gallbladder removal, heart bypasses, prostatectomies, and hysterectomies.
Many astronauts have died while performing space exploration missions. For example, the Apollo 1 mission was almost entirely lost due to a fire in the cabin of the capsule.
However, since the 1970s, robotic spacecraft have been used to carry out space exploration missions. In particular, there has been a large increase in the use of robotic probes to explore our solar system and nearby star systems
For example, robotic spacecraft like Cassini have been sent to explore Saturn and its moons. Robots are also being used for more complex missions like Mars exploration and asteroid deflection.
While robots cannot yet take over every aspect of space exploration, they are already making a significant impact on these important endeavors.
