Science fiction films are becoming more popular in the US and UK.
Sci-fi films allow viewers to question our modern world and ask questions about ourselves and our future.
Film makers are increasingly using the story of space travel and colonisation of other planets as a metaphor for society’s current problems.
Sci-fi films are any film that is set in a futuristic setting that incorporates science fiction. They generally contain elements of fantasy and technology, such as teleportation, time travel, or invisibility.
They also often contain space travel and alien creatures. Some films are simply about an interesting but far-fetched idea, while others include realistic elements that enhance the storyline.
Climate fiction films are set in a future that has been altered by climate change. In this future, society has collapsed and humans have adapted to survive. The film “Snowpiercer” was one of the most popular film to explore this theme.
It’s been said that South Korean master Bong Joon-ho’s sci-fi film Snowpiercer takes place aboard a train that travels the world with what’s left of humanity on board.
After botched attempts to engineer the earth to help with global warming, they created a new Snowball Earth which destroyed the planet and nearly all of humanity.
Other films include “The Decline“, which is about global warming and its effects on society, and “IO“, which features humans living in a futuristic world where water is scarce.

Dystopian films are set in a future where people live under a strict regime or oppressive government that rules over them.
This regime controls their daily lives by controlling what they can do and think, but there is hope for the future. In this kind of films, we see that the characters learn from their mistakes and rebel against their oppressors.
We also see them forming groups of resistance to overthrow their masters; this provides us with hope for a better future as we see how they will make changes in order to achieve it.
