3.  Make a plan

After you have figured out the cost of your smart house, you need to start making a plan. Think about how you want to implement all of your smart house ideas.

It would be best to decide whether you want to do everything at once or little by little. If you want to do everything at once, you will need to have a lot of money and time available. Otherwise, you will end up spending too much and getting too frustrated.

4.  Test, test, and test

Once you have everything planned out, it is time to test. Test your smart house project by implementing some of the things you have planned and see how they work.

If you are building a solar-powered smart house, make sure you test out the solar panels before installing them. If you are building a smart house controlled by your mobile phone, try using it before installing everything.

Test and test until you find a way to make it work the way you want it to work.

5.  Don’t give up

This is probably one of the most important tips. You might not get it right the first time or the second time, or the third time, but don’t give up.

Think about what went wrong and why it didn’t work and try again. You will need to keep trying until you get it right.

It took me months to get my smart house to work the way I wanted it to work. I had to buy new materials, add new features, remove old ones and redesign everything.

Sometimes you need to start from scratch and change your whole plan. It took me some time to find the right balance between the technology I wanted to use and the available money.

I’m still working on it, and I have many new ideas for the future, but the most important thing is that I never gave up.
