Stress is a common condition that many people experience throughout their lives. Many people struggle with the effects of stress and feel as though they cannot handle the pressure at work or school.
Physical symptoms are a very common response to stress. Many people suffer from the physical manifestations of stress, but many others have no clue that they are suffering from it. In this article, we will go over 10 common physical symptoms of stress.

The following is a list of 10 common physical symptoms of stress:

1. Exhaustion

It is no secret that feeling exhausted after a long day at work can be attributed to stress. We tend to burn the candle at both ends and so our body tends to experience a lack of energy as a result.

This can be a sign that you need to take a step back and rethink your approach to your work-life balance. Take some time off from work and see how you feel after the end of the day.

It is possible that you might feel more refreshed and energetic once you get back to your regular routine.

This way, you will be able to manage your workload better and will not have such an impact on your energy levels during the course of the day!

2. Loss Of Appetite And Weight Gain/Loss/Difficulty Sleeping

A common complaint among those who suffer from stress is that they find it difficult to maintain a healthy diet and that they are losing weight or are gaining weight in an unhealthy manner. This is often due to the fact that stress has a negative impact on our appetites.

Our appetite is often the first thing to go when we are under pressure and so it can be quite challenging to maintain a healthy diet.

As a result, you may find yourself eating more unhealthy foods than usual or making bad food choices in order to cope with stress. This can have long-term consequences, which will only worsen your health over time.

It is also possible that you might find it difficult to sleep when you are under stress. Your body’s cortisol levels tend to rise during times of stress and this can affect your sleep patterns, making it difficult for you to get the right amount of rest during the night.

You may also experience problems falling asleep at night or staying asleep once you do fall asleep. All of these problems can lead to an increased risk of developing conditions such as depression and anxiety in the long run!

3. Fatigue

It is another common symptom of stress that many people experience when they are under pressure at work or school. This is often because of the way that stress can affect our body’s ability to function properly.

It is not uncommon for people to experience fatigue during the course of the day and yet still find themselves unable to get enough rest during the night. This is due to the fact that stress has a very negative impact on our energy levels and can make it difficult for us to get enough rest.

4. Muscle Tension

It is not uncommon for people who are under stress at work or school to experience muscle tension in their shoulders, neck, and back as a result of their daily routine. Muscle tension is usually associated with overuse of muscles that are used frequently during the course of a day.

It can also be caused by chronic pain or by an increase in muscular strength as a result of working out too much or through an unhealthy diet. This kind of tension can cause you pain and discomfort as well as impair your mobility and ability to move freely throughout your day.
