Parents, do you have trouble getting your little ones to eat fresh veggies? If so, keep reading. I recently came across this fascinating article about making veggies more appealing to kids.

I found some of these tips to be really ingenious. Not only are they suitable for kids, but also picky adults like myself.

Here are 7 vegetable hacks to get your kids eating more veggies:

1. Make Veggies the “Bait” for Other Foods

This is one of my favorites. At dinner time, get your kids to eat a few bites of veggies first. Then, offer them the option of a second serving of veggies or their favorite food. Most of the time, they will choose to have seconds of the veggies.

2. Make Veggies Taste Like Candy

Another great tip from the article is to cook veggies with a little sugar (or honey). The sweetness will make them taste like candy to kids. The best veggies to cook with this method are carrots, beets, squash, and zucchini.
