Cut veggies like zucchini and cucumbers into sticks. Then, dip them in hummus for a delicious snack. You could also dip them in ranch dressing.
This is genius! I shaped them into puzzle pieces and animals. I then put them on a tray with other healthy snacks and let my kids sort them by shape and color. They were so engaged in this activity that they didn’t even realize that they were eating carrots.
My kids love pancakes. So, I put shredded carrots in the batter, and they never knew. This is a great way to add extra nutrients to their diet. Also, healthy carrot cake-slash-pancake? I’m in!
Instead of using a processed dip, like ranch dressing, use fresh veggies as a dip. For example, cut up carrots, celery, and cauliflower into sticks and dip them into hummus. You could also do this with cucumbers.
All kids love juice. So, why not put veggies in juice? My kids love this “juicy” watermelon drink. I know it’s not technically a vegetable, but it has many vitamins, minerals, and fiber. You can also mix veggies like cucumbers or kale into your kids’ favorite juice.
