The rule is simple: take more photos than you think is necessary!
Achieving this level of depth of field is difficult when using small aperture values (f/8), but using an aperture value of f/11 gives us more control over depth of field and exposure values (lower ISO values).
When we increase the depth of field, we get more detail in the background without having to worry about distracting elements such as hair or sunglasses.
The effect is so good that it makes it look like our eyes are bigger!

This tip is related to tip number 3: it’s better to have your elbows on the surface and then hold your camera by hand for stability than to try to keep the camera at arm’s length.
For example, if you have your elbows on the surface and your hands holding the camera by hand, you will be able to focus on details of your face, without having to worry about changing positions.
If you are using a wide-angle lens, you will also be able to capture more space around you.
Focus point selection tools allow us to select the area that we want to focus on in our image. This is important because it allows us to adjust the focus after we take the photo so that everything remains sharp.
If we do not use this tool, there is a risk that our picture will have little or no focus (which would make it blurry). It’s easy to use this tool when we are taking pictures of ourselves!
