Experiment #3: The Power of Music

Music is a great way to relax. It has been used for centuries in order to treat people with emotional problems.

The purpose of this experiment is to see how powerful music can be. You will use a simple instrument called a tympanum (which looks like a triangle with three holes).

How to do it:

First, cut two strips of paper so that they are as wide as the bottle and long enough so that they fit inside the bottle completely without falling in. Then put one strip inside the bottle on top of the water while you place your hand on top of it.

Then wrap another strip of paper around the bottle so that it completely covers the first strip

Second, tie a string to the bottom of the tympanum and then attach it to the top of the bottle. Make sure that you attach it so that the string is not touching any part of your hand.

Third, play some music on your iPod or some other music player. The higher the volume, the stronger the sound will be.

Experiment #4: Accelerating your hand with a fan

The higher the acceleration, the stronger the force feels on your hand.

How to do it:

First, you need to cut some cardboard so that it fits inside the bottle completely without falling in. Then place the cardboard on top of the water and then put your hand on top of it.

Second, put some tape on top of the cardboard so that it can hold your hand without falling in. Third, place the fan in front of you and turn it on so that it blows air at you.
