3. Stay calm and confident

Be confident when speaking because people are more likely to listen if they feel that you are confident. If you don’t sound confident, then they will be less likely to listen to what you have to say.

You can improve your confidence by practicing your speech and speaking in front of a mirror or asking someone else to critique your speech. 

Practice speaking in front of a mirror because it will help you get rid of any stuttering or nervousness that you might have when speaking in front of others. 

You can also ask someone else to critique your speech because they will be able to tell if you’re being genuine or not. They will also be able to tell if you’re nervous and uncomfortable when speaking in front of others.
