Counting the calories per day of food and calories per day of exercise is an essential way to determine the daily energy balance.

People use it to determine whether the body is gaining or losing weight.

Therefore, there are many people who even buy specific food products with the calorie content included.

However, this approach may not always be accurate, as it is only based on a single method.

While your daily calories play a role in how much energy your body burns throughout the day, they are not the only factor.

This is because of the complex interactions between various hormones and chemicals that regulate your body’s metabolism.

This article will provide you with a list of reasons counting calories alone may not be effective in helping you achieve your weight loss goals.

1. Food Labels Aren’t Always Truthful

Weight gain is one of the major health concerns that many people have. If you are one of those people, chances are that you have been counting calories.

However, the reason counting calories may not be effective is because of food labels.

Those labels do not always tell the truth.

This is because food manufacturers have a tendency to add or remove a lot of ingredients in order to increase or decrease the calorie content of their product.

This means that if you eat something that contains more than it should and/or less than it should, your scale or measuring cups will deceive you.

Then, you end up eating more calories than you should be.
