I Bought a Do-It-Yourself Closet Organizer and I Regret It

Reading Time: 2 minutes

I was so excited when I bought a do-it-yourself closet organizer off the internet. It was a great price at $15, and I thought I would easily and cheaply organize all of my clothes.

When the package arrived, I was shocked to see that the closet organizer was almost as tall as myself. It was made of the cheapest particle board that I have ever seen. I could easily see the rough edges of the lumber, and I even found a couple of nails in the back.

I thought that I would be able to assemble the closet organizer quickly. Still, I was shocked when I opened the instructions, and they were not in English. Nowhere on the website did I see that the instructions were in a different language.

I quickly found the website of the manufacturer, and I was able to download the English instructions. I was able to assemble the closet organizer in just a few minutes.

I was able to hang my clothing on the hooks on the organizer. Still, it quickly became apparent that the closet organizer would not hold the weight of my clothes. The particleboard quickly started to bow, and I was afraid the closet organizer would break under my clothes’ weight.
