One example of flea prevention products is the flea shampoo. This shampoo is applied directly on your pet’s fur to kill the fleas. It can be used to wash the pet’s hair, and it can also be used as a spot treatment for areas where fleas are found.

You can find a flea shampoo at most pet stores. Flea shampoos are specially formulated to kill fleas on dogs and cats. Some can also remove other parasites, such as ticks and lice. However, keep in mind that this will only rid your pets of the current fleas on their fur, and won’t prevent future infestations.

2. Brush them with a flea comb

There are also flea combs available in the market. Flea combs are similar to toothbrushes, but instead of teeth, they have a series of tiny bristles. You can use it to remove fleas from your pet’s fur.

You can also find flea combs at most pet stores. They’re especially effective to get rid of dead fleas, so try mixing it with other flea prevention products. For example, use a flea comb after washing your pets for fleas with a special shampoo.

3. Put a flea collar on them

Another method to get rid of fleas is to put a flea collar on your pet. Flea collars are used to prevent fleas from biting your pet. You can also use it as a flea repellent for your pet.

You can find anti-flea collars at most pet stores. It’s specially designed to keep fleas away from your pets, and will help to prevent future infestations. Make sure to use one that won’t irritate the skin of your pets and cause other problems, such as itching and irritation.
