Anxiety disorders are a common mental health issue for people of all ages. They affect your ability to cope with everyday life stressors.

They may cause intense feelings of fear or worry that interfere with daily functioning or cause significant distress and impairment in daily life activities such as work or school.

These symptoms are often accompanied by physical symptoms such as heart palpitations, nausea, sweating, trouble breathing, trembling, muscle tension, and feeling dizzy. Anxiety disorders may occur for no apparent reason.

For people with anxiety disorders, life could be hell. Unfortunately, not everyone realizes that anxiety disorders are different with the normal feeling of fear. Therefore, here are 4 things everyone should know about anxiety disorders.

1) Anxiety disorders are different from the normal feeling of fear.

People with anxiety disorders feel anxious or fearful without any obvious reason. This is very different from the normal feeling of fear which comes in response to a threat, such as a burglar or terrorist. When you feel scared because you are about to get mugged, for example, this is called “anxiety”.

The more common feeling of fear that occurs in response to stressors such as traffic jams or meeting someone new is called “worry”. It is possible to have both anxiety and worry at the same time.

2) It is normal for people with anxiety disorders to seek help.

Most people with anxiety disorders feel that they need to be able to control their feelings of anxiety. This is one of the reasons why they turn to medications, or other forms of treatment such as psychotherapy.

A common misconception is that mental illness is not as important as physical illness. However, anxiety disorders are very common and can cause significant distress and impairment in daily life activities.

This is why it is important for people with anxiety disorders to recognize that their feelings are not just in their heads and seek help from a professional.
