The best volleyball teams in the world have won multiple medals at the Olympics and World Championships. They have beaten tough opponents and gained victories in matches that are remembered for years to come.
These teams, who were ranked among the top five by their peers, were able to create great memories because of their ability to work together and produce results. Some of these volleyball teams were even able to go beyond their peers and win medals at the Olympics as well as World Championships.

Modena Volleyball is an Italian professional volleyball team based in the city of Modena. It has competed at the highest level of the Italian Volleyball League (ITLV) without being forced to play an international match since 1968.
Modena Volleyball is the most successful club in Italy, winning the Italian Volleyball League twelve times and the Italian Volleyball Cup four times.
It is one of the most important and successful volleyball clubs in Europe, winning 13 European trophies, including four CEV Champions League titles.

VC Zenit-Kazan (Russian: енит-аан) is a pro volleyball team based in Kazan, Russia. Until 2008, the team was known as Dinamo Tattransgaz Kazan (Russian: инамо-аттранса).
It is a member of the Kazakhstan Super League, having been champions for 10 years running. In its new era, the team won the 2007–08, 2011–12, 2014–15, 2015-16, 2016-17, and 2017-18 CEV Champions Leagues, making it the most successful club in its new era.
During the decade 1980, volleyball was very popular in Brazil. They held the first national professional volleyball tournament in 1981. 1980 was the decade that brought the so-called “silver generation”, referring to the year that the Brazilian men’s volleyball team won the silver medal at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.
The Brazilian men’s professional volleyball team plays in the Brazilian national volleyball league – the Superliga Brasileira de Voleibol (SBF). It is the most successful team in the Brazilian Volleyball Federation, having won nine national titles.
