Lately on social media, there are many people showing off their unusual pets, namely lions, peacocks, iguanas, and even chimpanzees. However, one thing you should know is that these animals are actually the ones that you should not keep as pets.

They are wild animals, so they are usually more aggressive and dangerous than domestic animals. They also need vast living areas, and keeping them caged as pets will affect their condition and welfare. For this reason, we should not keep the following animals as pets.

1) Big Cats

These are wild animals that are usually more aggressive than domestic cats. Big cats include lions, tigers, and leopards. There are people who keep these animals as pets in their homes, but they should be careful.

If the animal escapes from the cage, it can harm people and even bite them. Big cats are also very strong and fast animals, so it is very easy for them to get out of the cage.

2) Lizards

Lizards are reptiles that are usually smaller than snakes. They have a flat body and can move on four legs or two legs. These animals can be kept as pets, but they need very specific living conditions.

In order to keep them healthy, you need to give them enough space and a temperature-controlled environment. They should also be given enough food and water so that they do not dehydrate or starve.
