Tile:

Tile roofs were once considered to be quite durable. Modern tile roof design tends to be made of high-quality materials and coating, and should last for many years without needing any maintenance or repairs.

However, because concrete tile roofs are relatively lightweight, they tend to be more susceptible to damage during a storm than other type of roof materials.

This can make the repair and maintenance difficult after a storm has passed. If you live in an area where storms occur frequently, then it may not be worth your while to consider concrete tile as a roofing option.

Slate Roof:

Slate roofs are very durable and effective at stopping water from entering the building through leaks. They also provide excellent insulation and soundproofing qualities, but the installation can be quite expensive.

If you live in a climate where it is cold in the winter and hot in the summer, then you may want to consider asphalt shingles. These types of materials are very effective at keeping the heat and cold out of your home during cold and hot climate.

However, if you consider the durability of other roofing materials, then the most durable roofing material would be slate.
