How Do These Personalities Affect His Life?
Out of all his personalities, “Barry” is the one who controls them all. It is his decision about which personality can be seen at any given time.
Barry gives different personalities the chance to come out at one time, but only two of them have come out recently. “Dennis” and “Patricia” are extremely annoying for Barry.
They keep trying to cause problems for him. Dennis has started harassing young girls. But Patricia keeps talking about this mysterious being that she believes in.
As Patricia believes, this identity is a very powerful who will cause the entire world to be cleansed of all things impure.
Patricia refers to this being as The Beast and calls impure those who have not suffered any abuse. Karen Fletcher helps Barry conduct his routine therapy sessions.
However, she noticed that Dennis dominates the people he meets. During this time, Dennis acts as if he is Barry, the prime alter persona.
What Did Dennis Do in the Film?
Dennis kidnaps three teenage girls — Casey Cooke, Claire Benoit, and Marcia — as they are traveling home. He then holds them captive for six days.
Dennis kidnaps the girls and forces them to an underground cell at the Philadelphia Zoo.
Kevin adopted a female alter named “Patricia”, and a child altered named “Hedwig” so he could talk with girls. Meanwhile, the girls try to break out of the cell.
They try to take advantage of weaker alters, but it isn’t as though they have succeeded in doing that.
Dennis boarded an empty train that was about to depart New York, and after a while, a new alter took over.
This new alter is really The Beast, the mysterious being that Patricia talks about. He is the 24th personality that is in Kevin. The Beast is the 24th alter and having superhuman abilities.
He then takes over and goes back to Kevin‘s headquarters. The Beast ended Marcia and Fletcher’s life when they tried to confront him.
After that, he’s trying to end Claire’s life too but then stops when she screams Kevin‘s full name.
