People in their extended family and circle of friends are already finding out what he has done because of the Facebook post.

We find it very humorous and sad how his son said in the final scene of this movie that Daddy was having a party. They thought maybe Evan would have a big party for his family on Father’s Day if they were unable to be there.

It turned out that he did not host a large party for his family. Now that the story is so public, it will cause the entire family to become very estranged.

Knock, Knock (2015) - Ending Explanation

How Does the Movie End?

Evan Webber is a complex and fleshed-out character who is not without his share of flaws. The idea that the film espouses in the final hour is a big part of its message. This fact makes it hard to understand what it is trying to say.

That makes it almost impossible to assign a general meaning to the film other than the erotic thriller and home invasion thriller categories.

Roth has a special ending for the movie as Evan tries to find the women using a gadget they carry around. In this ending, Evan can punish his enemies for something that they have done.

Evan searches for women using a tiny gadgets they wear on their collars. They are found by going to their houses and speaking with them. When someone knocks on the door of someone’s house, the girls ask, ‘Who’s there?’
