1. Do not answer calls from unknown callers
If you do not recognize the number, do not answer the call. If it’s important, the person should leave a message. Incoming calls from private or unknown numbers are often spam calls. Therefore, you better not to answer spam phone calls.
2. Do not respond to unwanted texts or messages from unknown numbers
Just like with calls, if you do not recognize the number, do not respond to the message. Suspicious messages, prerecorded message, phishing text messages, and spam texts often come from unknown numbers.
These types of messages try to get you to respond or click on a link. By responding, you are letting the sender know that your number is active, which could lead to more spam texts and calls. That’s why you should not respond the message when the number is unknown.
