Flatliners is a movie remake of the original film that directed by Niels Arden Oplev in 1990.
There are many famous actors in Flatliners, including Elliot Page, Diego Luna, Nina Dobrev, James Norton and Kiefer Sutherland (who is appeared in both movies).
It is about a group of high school students who want to explore the afterlife world.
It turns out that there were many things that happened. This is the plot and ending of the movie “Flatliners”.
You should be careful because there are a lot of plot twists and turns in the film.
What’s the Movie About?
Courtney, a medical student, suffers from guilt after getting into a car accident because she was distracted by her phone while driving.
She survives when her sister drowned and passed away after the accident.
Courtney is secretly working on a project, but she wants to record what happens to her brain when during the death experience.
She invites her two friends, Jamie (James) and Sophia (Kiersey) on this experiment.
They are instructed to stop her heart for sixty seconds, record what she does, and then defibrillate her to bring her back to life.
They call Marlo (Nina) and Ray (Diego) to join and help them as well.
After a brief fight, they were able to bring Courtney back to life.
What Happens During the Flatlining?
When Courtney is flatlined, she experiences a fantastic feeling, followed by a certain doom and despair. She has a lot of regret and guilt over the death of her sister.
It causes her brain to access every repressed memory and function at a much higher capacity. The others soon begin to flatline, except for Ray.
Although they may seem to have a clear advantage because they are intelligent, they soon experience supernatural things.
