Split is the second film in the Unbreakables trilogy that is directed by M Night Shyamalan. It follows Kevin Crumb, a man who has been diagnosed with a debilitating personality disorder (DID).

James McAvoy delivers one of his greatest performances as a man who has a disordered personality disorder (DID).

There are also notable performances from Anya Taylor-Joy and Betty Buckley in the film.

Shyamalan is at his best. He penned the screenplay for Split and also produce it, make it become a critical and commercial success.

Split was grossing over $270 million on a $9 million budget.

Who Starred in Split?

In addition to Jessica Alba, the film stars Brad William Henke, Kevin Spacey, Nia Vargas, Rosario Dawson, and M Night Shyamalan.

Blum and Marc Bienstock co-produced the film with M Night Shyamalan.

West Dylan Thordson composed the music for the film. Luke Ciarrocchi edited the film while Mike Gioulakis directed the cinematography. Split hit cinemas on January 20, 2017.

The main events occurred in the film took place just outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Kevin Wendell Crumb is the main character of the show.

Apparently, he has a debilitating disorder called DID, or Dissociative Identity Disorder.

Because of his disorder, he has been able to form 23 different personalities in one person.

His childhood abuse and abandonment are likely to be one reason he is so severely deranged.
