Mental health is a controversial topic. Many people who are in poor mental health situations believe that it is a sign of weakness, a fault in character, or an indication of personal shortcomings.

Some feel that it should be taken care of by the individual and others believe that the state should be responsible for the provision of adequate mental health services. Others see it as part of society’s attitude towards those who are considered to be different.

Here are some reasons as to why mental health can be such a tough thing to fix.

1. There’s a lot of social stigma when it comes to mental health.

The first reason that mental health is a tough thing to fix is because there is a lot of social stigma. Mental health problems are not something that people want to admit to or talk about, which can make it difficult for people to get the help they need.

This may also contribute to the difficulty in getting people with mental health problems the treatment they need. This could also be a reason why people with mental health problems are often viewed as “crazy” or as having issues that can be fixed through “tough love”.

2. Building emotional resilience is hard.

Emotional resilience is one of the core concepts in mental health. Resilience is the ability to recover from adversity, which is a key part of recovery from mental struggles. Understanding what emotional resilience is helps us to understand how we can nurture our mental health properly.

Resilience is also important for our ability to adapt to life and overcome feelings of anxiety. People who are resilient are able to cope well with difficult situations and any tough time or stressful situation they may face. They are also able to bounce back quickly from difficult life events very well.
