Are you a healthy eater but hate cooking? Have you been trying to plan healthy meals and not having the time to cook them? Are you worried you can’t get enough nutrients because you can’t prepare a meal from scratch? If so, this article is for you.

People who cannot cook or are limited in their cooking abilities often find it difficult to maintain a healthy diet.

However, there are plenty of people who do not have the time to cook healthy meals and they manage to eat healthy foods on a regular basis.

1. Use frozen produce.

Frozen produce has a much longer shelf life than fresh produce and it is more cost effective. Furthermore, lots of frozen food only need to be warmed up or fried before they’re ready for consumption, which is great if you’re not a great cook.

You can buy organic frozen fruits and frozen veggies that have been flash frozen to preserve their natural nutrients and natural flavors.

However, keep in mind that frozen produce may lose some of its nutritional value when it is picked, transported, stored, prepared, or served.

2. Meal prep.

By meal prepping, you can minimize the number of times you’d have to cook, which will lessen the chances of you messing up while cooking meals.

You can meal prep by preparing all your food in advance and then storing it in the fridge for a few days. Prepare a big batch of food, then portion it out into single serving containers and freezing them.

If you’re not good at cooking, meal prepping is a great way to ensure you get all the nutrients you need. Take the time to make a week-long plan filled with a trusty nutrient-dense meal.
