Cats can be fun to raise. They can be a lovely addition to a family. However, they sometimes can be a handful.
So, if you are thinking of raising a cat, here are some things that you might want to prepare before you raise a cat.
1. Space
Cats need a lot of space. You have to provide your cat with all the room that it requires. Before you raise a cat, ensure that you have ample space for the cat to play, run around, and even climb.
You also have to keep the cat’s litter box in a separate room. Cats do not like to use a litter box where they eat.
2. Furniture
Cats have claws. They will scratch furniture. So, before you raise a cat, you better buy a scratching post. Otherwise, your furniture will look like it has been shredded. It would be best if you also covered your furniture with scratch-proof material.
3. Food
Cats need a lot of food. They will eat all the time. You cannot feed your cat just one type of food. You have to spend money on both dry and wet food. Only providing one kind of food is unhealthy for your cat.
