3. Avoid Stimulants
Stimulants can aggravate panic attacks. You should avoid coffee, tea, smoking, and alcohol. These things may seem to calm you down at first, but they will make the panic attack worse in the long run. Try drinking water instead.
4. Accept the fear
If you try to suppress the panic attack, it will only make it worse. Instead, accept that you have a panic attack. You should also remind yourself that these attacks are harmless and not dangerous. This way, you will be less afraid of a panic attack.

5. Don’t avoid
Panic attacks are unpredictable. You can’t prevent them from happening. If you avoid places where you have a panic attack, you will only make it worse. If you avoid them, you will develop agoraphobic behavior, fear of leaving your home. When you have panic attacks, try to focus on what you are doing. This way, you will be able to distract yourself from the attacks. Doing something that you like will also help you to relax and feel better.
