Panic attacks can be disturbing, but they are not dangerous. In this post, we will learn about 5 ways to deal with panic attacks.
1. Relax Breathing
The first thing you should do as soon as you start to feel a panic attack coming is to relax your breathing. Breathing should be done calmly and easily. Take in deep breaths and exhale slowly. You should also try to relax your body and stay calm.
2. Don’t fight
Fighting the panic attack will only make it worse. When this happens, try to relax and accept that you are in the middle of a panic attack. In the meantime, try to distract your mind. Do something that will take your mind off the panic attack, such as counting or listening to music.
