Are you looking for a way to stay fit without going to the gym?

Running, walking, swimming, cycling, and lifting weights are all great ways to burn calories and build muscle. But some people want to work out from home.

Maybe you want to incorporate social distancing, so you’d rather do your workouts alone from home. Or maybe you’re just starting to incorporate workouts into your routine, and you don’t want anything with too much risk.

Regardless of the reason, if you want to build muscle at home but don’t have a gym membership or space in your home for a gym, there are still plenty of options for you.

Here are 4 workouts you can do from home:

1. Bodyweight Exercises

Bodyweight exercises are easy to do and can be done anywhere. All you need is ample floor space!

Start with some standard push-ups, pull-ups, or chin-ups. Then progress to the bodyweight squat position, lunges, and the plank position. You can do these on an exercise mat or carpeted floor if you have one in your home.

This is a good way to improve your core strength. You can also add weights by using dumbbells or barbells, if you have any. You can also add resistance by using resistance bands.

2. Cardio Training

You can do cardio routines at home with or without equipment. A cardio workout without equipment includes walking, running, jogging, or biking. You can also find cardio routines on YouTube or other platforms to follow.

If you have a treadmill or a stationary bike, even better! You can also use an elliptical machine or a stair stepper (alternatively, just using actual stairs in you house).

All you need is 30 minutes a day to do cardio exercises and you can get the same results as a gym member.
