This is another one of cool science experiments for kids that you can do at home. You will need food coloring of different shades, milk, a shallow dish, and dish soap.

Pour milk into the dish until the surface of the dish disappears. Pour little droplets of food coloring; make sure to have 3-4 drops for each color. Finally, pour a little drop of dish soap on the center of the plate.

At this point, the different colors in the dish will begin to dance. This experiment teaches us about how different molecules interact with each other. In this case, the fat molecules and water molecules from the milk are separated by the dish soap.

In this case, the fat molecules and water molecules from the milk are separated by the dish soap, which has hydrophilic and hydrophobic characteristics. That is why the food coloring gets pushed around everywhere, creating an explosion of rainbow colors.

4. Baking Soda Volcanoes

This is a very simple science experiment that can be done at home. The aim of this science experiment is to observe the simulation of a volcanic eruption.

You will need a bit of food coloring, vinegar, and of course, baking soda. You will also need newspaper, cardboard, a plastic bottle, liquid glue, paint, and scissors.

Start by putting your bottle in the middle of the cardboard. Rip the newspaper into smaller pieces and glue them around the bottle, then paint it so that it looks like a mini volcano.

You would need to let it be for a couple of days so that it dries properly. Afterwards, pour the vinegar, baking soda, and food coloring into the bottle and watch the “volcano” erupt.
