Social experiment is an interesting concept that most of us can agree on. You know, the classic: “If I did this, would people treat me differently?” And the classic: “If I did this, would people react?” We can do all sorts of things to test these concepts out. Here are 4 social experiments you can do for fun!
1. Post a “secret” on your social media
Post a secret on your social media. Make it cryptic and/or vague. For example, you could post something like: “It’s always fun to have a secret! I wonder what my friends will think of this one!”
Or, you could post something like: “I wonder what my friends will think of this secret? You can only find out by reading my mind.” Posting a secret is pretty simple and easy to do.
It’s also pretty interesting because we know how hard it is to keep secrets. So you can see the results of the experiment almost immediately!
2. Ask your friends
Ask your friends a question about yourself and make sure they don’t know the answer. For example, you could ask them: “What is my favorite thing to do on the weekend?” And see what they say!
Or, you could ask them: “What’s my least favorite thing to do on the weekend?” And see what they say! You can even add in some of your own questions to test out other things!
This is also pretty simple and easy to do. You can also see the results of the experiment almost immediately!
