3. You Don’t Have a Plan in Place for the Future
It’s common for people in their 20s to get married without having much of a plan in place for the future. After all, the college graduation ceremony is almost like a marriage proposal season.
Many people don’t think that they can afford kids and a career at the same time. So, they figure that they have plenty of time for both things later on in life. And it’s true that being married is easier when they have more money and are better able to manage their time.
In my opinion, it’s much better to have a plan in place from the beginning. That way, you don’t waste years of your life trying to figure out what is really important!
The rule of thumb is you shouldn’t get married if your main goal is having children. Instead, make having children one of your secondary goals once you’ve got everything else sorted out.

4. You’re Not Financially Stable
One of the worst things that you can do is to get married and then have to work two jobs just to make ends meet. You need a stable job in order to raise a family. And if you don’t have a good income, then it’s very difficult for you to take care of your family properly.
Instead of being married and then working two full-time jobs, why not wait until you’ve got a steady income? Then it won’t be necessary for you to work all the time in order to support your family. That’s why it’s better for everyone if both people in the marriage have stable careers.
