Dishonesty
This is a big one. Being dishonest with your partner will definitely break a relationship.
I don’t care how good you are at hiding it, being dishonest with your partner will eventually come out. There are always signs that something is off.
You can’t always see them because it’s subtle, but you know when something is off. Dishonesty is never justified in a relationship, and being dishonest with your partner will cause a lot of problems for you and for your partner.
Being honest means admitting when you are wrong and owning up to the consequences of your actions.
It also means being completely open about what’s going on in your life so that you don’t have to worry about hiding things from each other (and so that the other person doesn’t have to hide things from you).
Being honest also means communicating openly with each other about everything that’s going on in your life so that the other person doesn’t have to worry about keeping secrets from you or keeping information from you because they think it might be too personal or private.
Lack of respect
This is the last thing that will break a relationship. Respect is a crucial element of any healthy relationship.
Respect means that you respect your partner and their needs and feelings, and you give them the same respect in return. You do not try to control your partner or use them for your own needs, and you do not disrespect them or treat them unfairly.
Lack of respect will definitely break a relationship because it means that one or both partners are not respecting each other as human beings.
Lack of respect means that one or both partners are not treating each other with dignity and with respect. Lack of respect means that one or both partners are using each other for their own personal gain rather than valuing each other as human beings.
