What Do We Genuinely Think About the Movie?
It’s a genuinely terrifying thriller, and it’s not about an alien attack that forces people to live in bunkers; it’s more about the people who are inside the bunkers that have made it necessary.
Emmett and Michelle finally get to talk about what they thought about their lives before aliens attacked them. Emmett never left his hometown because he was afraid that he wouldn’t be successful.
He thought he would regret if he left his hometown. Michelle, who is played by Mary Elizabeth Winstead, starts to think about her past and regrets what she has done. They both have a similar thought that they’ve shared from the very beginning of the film.
Michelle runs away from her fiancé after they have a nasty argument. She says that running away from her fiancé is what she does to cope with her abusive childhood.
It’s as though her father forced Michelle into a psychotically paternalistic relationship, and her attempt to break that cycle is very much like that of her father.
Emmett’s backstory encourages her to do what is wrong, and Emmetts’s death frees her to finally leave the bunker.
Michelle escapes one of the more dangerous people in 10 Cloverfield Lane, only to get into an alien being’s trap.
It seems strange to think that something like that could happen, but it’s actually very interesting to see how one of the film’s main themes is carried on. If they give Michelle another monster to fight, she has the incentive to finally do what is right.
Is It Truly the End?
Having only narrowly escaped being held for a short time, she is finally ready to do what is right.
Michelle struggles with a choice during her last days at 10 Cloverfield Lane: should she run away to safety or should she fight it head-on?
Cloverfield has a monster that many people have seen, but the way it appears at the end of the film is very interesting, because it shows that all of what Mary Elizabeth Winstead has experienced has brought her to that crossroads.
And that’s what makes her willing to fight back. Many critics have claimed that the last few scenes of 10 Cloverfield Lane are some of the weakest in the film, but they’re actually very interesting.
They give us an idea for the future of the Cloverfield film franchise.
